They are formulated for a range of activation temperatures and adhesive and lamination applications in the automotive, footwear, furniture and packaging industries.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"prologue__line animated-element prologue__line--secondary\"><span class=\"animated animated--width\" data-animation-delay=\"0.5s\"><\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"prologue__txt animated-element sm\"><div class=\"animated animated--transform animated--opacity\" data-animation-delay=\"0.7s\"><p class=\"sm\">Heat-activated adhesives have the advantage of being non-tacky at room temperature, which makes them attractive for many industrial manufacturing processes. In addition, the properties of polyurethanes are easily adjustable to meet different activation temperature requirements. Delivered as small granules, <strong>Desmocoll <\/strong>products have good solubility in many organic solvents and vary in terms of crystallization rate, heat resistance, adhesion to specific substrates and solution viscosity. Adhesives based on them can be used on a variety of substrates, including leather, rubber, textiles, wood, paper, many plastics (including polyurethane elastomers and PVC substrates), plastic foils, metals and aluminum foils.
