Pergut ®

Pergut‘s fast-drying chlorinated polymer powders produce contact adhesives with improved initial bond strength as well as highly durable coatings. These 1K systems prevent corrosion and fouling by resisting chemical, water and microbial damage, and their low tetrachloromethane content meets global regulatory requirements.

Pergut is suitable for the formulation of highly resistant anti-corrosion coatings, anti-fouling coatings, swimming pool coatings, floor systems, printing inks, metal primers.

Pergut polymers can also be used for solvent contact adhesive formulations that are applied in the assembly of large area laminates such as countertops and building panels. The adhesives provide improved initial bond strength and high polarity to promote adhesion between rubber and metal (steel, iron, zinc) and are particularly suitable for the production of primers and adhesion promoters for rubber to metal bonding. These one-component systems are easy to use, dry quickly, provide good adhesion and resist corrosion, water, chemicals, salt and weather. Pergut products have broad compatibility with many solvents, resins, pigments, fillers and additives and are supplied in powder form (chlorinated rubber powder).
