NeoCryl

NeoCryl binders are acrylates and acrylate copolymers including a wide range of resins for applications from basic penetrating coatings on wood and mineral substrates, binders on metal substrates, binders on wood substrates, to special binders for thixotropic coatings. This range also includes binders based on OH-modified acrylates for 2K waterborne coatings cross-linked with isocyanate hardeners or acid-cured. They also include binders for interior and exterior wall paints.

Basic features and characteristics

  • Corrosion resistance and excellent adhesion to various metal substrates
  • Good wet grip, waterproof, wood wettability, abrasion resistance, low absorbency
  • High gloss, resistance and toughness in the exterior
  • Thixotropic properties, binders set quickly and do not run, are hard and resistant to blocking and fingerprints
  • Excellent resistance to chemicals and solvents
  • Bleed and stain resistance, including nicotine

Application and use

  • Primers (clear and pigmented for interiors and exteriors)
  • Metal coatings (anti-corrosion and direct plating)
  • Wood coatings (stains, floor coatings, high-gloss primers and decorative paints)
  • Thixotropic coatings
  • 2K systems based on OH-modified acrylics (parquet varnishes, concrete floor coatings, anti-graffiti, acid-curing wood coatings)
  • Paints for interior and exterior walls (wet rooms, exterior facades, wood)
